Daniel: Head Groomer
I'm Daniel, Head Groomer and dog lover. I've worked as a Dog Groomer since 2017, and have amassed a few certificates along the way. I'm calm by nature, which helps your dog stay relaxed throughout their appointment. I'm also partial to the odd game or cuddle, if they ask nicely.
I've always been dog mad; I love working with every single breed, size & personality and every day I'm grateful that my job allows me to work with the best possible clients!
Before training as a groomer, I started my career in the Army, where I worked for 7 years. Then I decided it was time for a change, but I wanted to do something I loved; I just wasn't quite sure what that was. So I wrote a list, whittled down my likes & dislikes and decided it had to be something to do with animals; ideally dogs. I signed up for a dog grooming taster day at The Animal Barn in Wetherby, Yorkshire and the rest is history. Having completed my training, I worked at Short Bark and Sides in Meanwood for several years, and I now work from home in Roundhay.
Pickle: Chief of Cheekiness
Piccalilli Rotton is our tiny rescue Boston Terrier; but what she lacks in size (and functioning legs) she makes up for in HUGE personality. And farts. And naps.
Pickle was abused as a puppy and has a disabled back leg, but she's the friendliest, happiest and often, fastest dog you'll meet.
Rambo: Head of Cuddles
The youngest & loudest of the pack, Rambo is our Head of Cuddles. He's cute, and he really knows it- but he's still needs everyone to tell him so. Feel free to ask to see him if you'd like a cuddle, and perhaps a sassy bum wiggle in your direction.
He's recently bought himself some new teeth (in Turkey, judging by the prominence of them) so if you need a laugh, Rambo can help.
